Ariadne Kaptur recently moved to the Denver area, and she is excited to bring her design and project management expertise to the Colorado architecture scene.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University, Ariadne moved to New York City. While in NYC, she joined gne Architecture, then moved to Alexander Compagno Architecture + Design. She quickly became an architectural designer and project manager, leading teams of engineers, consultants, vendors, and fabricators on a wide range of projects.

Her typical day starts with a construction site walkthrough of a new development project and ends with a client meeting for the renovation of their private residence. While in the office she can be found sketching designs, working on construction details, researching building code, sourcing materials and fixtures, and reviewing shop drawings and submittals.

Projects of varying scope and scale excite her, because they present a variety of client interactions, challenges, and ultimately innovative solutions. She gives the same level of care and critical attention to detail in all cases, constantly striving for creative resolutions.

In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, painting, cooking, hiking, and tandem cycling.
